Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) is Krabi’s famous hilltop shrine + cave complex. Come for the jungle base caves, stay for the summit after ~1,260 steps — a golden Buddha, a sacred footprint, and panoramic limestone-and-sea views.

Before you go
- Hours: commonly open from ~05:00 until late afternoon/early evening (check day-of notices on site).
- Safety: Steps are steep/slippy in rain; keep right, use railings, pace yourself.
- Monkeys: Do not feed or touch; secure food and loose items.

- Getting there: ~15 minutes by car/scooter from Krabi Town; easy taxi/ride-hail.
- Bring 1—2L water, sun protection, and light clothing; aim for sunrise or late afternoon.
