- Sea is calm near shore thanks to the reef; stronger surf breaks happen far out, not for beginners.

- Location: Nusa Dua (ITDC resort zone), South Kuta; easy via Bali Mandara Toll with signed public access points. Best light: sunrise and late afternoon.
