About this experience
The dramatic “T-Rex” cliffs island off Bali. Most day-trippers take a fast boat from Sanur Port (≈30—45 min) and loop the headline viewpoints—Kelingking, Broken Beach & Angel’s Billabong, Crystal Bay, or on the east side Diamond/Atuh—then head back by late afternoon. Seas and roads can be rough; plan with margin.

What you'll do
- Morning fast boat Sanur → Nusa Penida (common landings: Banjar Nyuh / Toya Pakeh) → driver loops the west (Kelingking, Broken Beach/Angel’s) or east (Diamond/Atuh) → golden-hour stop (often Crystal Bay for sunset) → return boat. Crossing time is ~30—45 min, weather permitting.
Before you go
- Tourism levy: pay on arrival/at harbor checkpoints (IDR 25,000 adult / 15,000 child). Keep the receipt.
- Boats are weather-dependent. Services can be delayed/cancelled during high waves; rough-sea incidents do happen—build buffer time.
- Safety at viewpoints/beaches: obey no-swim and cliff-edge signs at places like Kelingking; fatalities have occurred in heavy surf.
Good to know
- Roads to scenic spots can be slow/rough—budget time (Broken Beach access is notoriously bumpy).
- Book the first boat out; carry cash for parking/warungs; bring water and sun protection.
