Bali’s holy spring temple where locals and visitors line up for melukat (purification) beneath a row of stone spouts. Come early, dress modestly, and you can join the ritual or simply walk the courtyards and watch respectfully. Hours typically 08:00—18:00.

Who it's for
- All ages are welcome to visit. Participation in the purification is optional; you must wear temple dress and follow staff guidance. (Women are asked not to take part during menstruation per local custom.)
What you'll do
- Walk the courtyards and watch offerings being made. If you choose melukat: change into temple dress, secure a locker for your bag, follow the queue through the spouts one by one (skip any spout signed for prayer only), then change back and explore the grounds. Plan 60—120 minutes depending on queues.
Before you go
- Tickets (2025): foreign visitors commonly IDR 75,000 adult / IDR 50,000 child (5—12); under-5 free. Pay on arrival.
- Dress code: sarong + sash required; these are provided/available at the entrance. Shoulders/legs covered.
- Hours: typically 08:00—18:00 (some guides note gates opening earlier around 07:00; aim early for fewer crowds).
Good to know
- Location: Manukaya, Tampaksiring (Gianyar Regency)—about 30—40 minutes from Ubud by car.
- Lockers and changing areas are available via on-site/partner services if you’re bathing; bring small cash.
- Go light on valuables; secure phones/sunglasses while in the pools and on the steps.
